What are the limits of this PDF editor?

  • Edited text uses a Helvetica-style font and is drawn in black, so it may differ from the original typeface.
  • Text is edited line by line; surrounding text does not reflow.
  • White-out hides text but does not remove it from the file, so it is not secure redaction.
  • Password-protected or corrupted PDFs may fail to open.

How do I edit an existing PDF online?

How do I edit an existing PDF online?

Upload your PDF, pick a tool (add text, draw, white-out, highlight or insert an image), click on the page to place it, then download the edited PDF.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Editing runs entirely in your browser, so your document stays on your device.

Can I edit the original text already inside a PDF?

Yes. Choose Edit text and click any line of text on the page. The editor covers the original line and lets you retype it. The replacement uses a standard Helvetica-style font, so it may look slightly different from the original typeface, and it does not reflow surrounding text.

How do I sign a PDF online without uploading it?

Choose Image, select a PNG or JPG of your signature, then click where it should go on the page. Everything happens in your browser, so the PDF is never sent to a server.

How do I edit a PDF on my phone?

Open this page on your phone, upload the PDF, and use the tool row at the top: tap Edit text and then a line of text, or use Add text, Draw, White-out, Highlight or Image. Tap Download PDF in the bar at the bottom when you are done.

Can I use this PDF editor for government exam forms?

Yes. You can fix text, add a signature and delete pages, then use the PDF compressor to bring the file under the portal's KB limit.

Does it work on scanned PDFs?

Scanned PDFs are images with no selectable text, so Edit text will not find any lines. Use White-out to cover an area and Add text to type over it.

Can I delete or reorder pages?

Yes. Select a page in the thumbnail list, then delete it or move it up or down before downloading.
